On CampusBuddy…

“CampusBuddy gives students an unparalleled perspective of the academic world around them. CampusBuddy utilizes the Facebook platform to make it easier, much easier, for students to network and share with classmates . CampusBuddy creates a hub for students to interact, share meaningful info and see official school information.“

 On how CampusBuddy started…

“CampusBuddy was originally a niche website showing official class grade distributions at 44 colleges in California. Prior to launch, this sort of service was virtually unheard of at Californian schools, so it generated a lot of buzz. From there, we focused on expanding to over 50,000 schools, and making CampusBuddy the best service for students to network and share academic info.”

On Seeing Official Grade Distributions on CampusBuddy…

“Access to official grades distributions is very important and useful. It lets students know exactly how hard they can expect classes to be, GPA-wise. Many students love to see this info because it tends to reveal what classes are ‘easy.’ The broader purpose of making these records available, however, is to increase transparency at college campuses and to promote the ability for students to make educated decisions about their education.”
