Do you think it would be best to move to L.A. or N.Y.?

After I finish College. Im headed to Georgia Perimeter College and major in Communications for 2 years. Would it be best to move to L.A. or N.Y. after College to get closer to the action? I know I still may have to go to a 4-year college in order to become a film director after I finish GPC. But yea let me know what you think?

Im 20 years old.

I currently live in Atlanta,GA.

New York.. jobs.. and action!.. but I am am from here. I lived out in Cali for a few years. Everyone seemed so fake to me which is why I moved back to the NY area. In LA everyone has this outer plastic/fake fascade..it was really weird.

Maybe LA would be better for film though..

For your situation, NY would be best. The environment and academic atmosphere is great to learn and experience from.

L.A because that is the media capital and if you want to be a film director that is the best place to start your fame.

thats tough. LA probably has more job opportunities that would help you get your foot in the door.

I live and go to school here in NY. I must say that it is really a magical place. However, I have visited LA a couple of times and it is pretty amazing over there too. But for action and business, I would go with NY all the way. Good luck! =)

N.Y. is busy place. Do you like seeing skyscrapers, business people, cars, and cabs anywhere? Well, I would go to L.A. I think it would be the best choice.
