went to college now i get no cell phone signal?

I have verizon and i have always got a good signal every were but i move out of the city to goto highland cc and i get no service here only people that do is at&t people and t mobile and i wanted to know who i could call to get it fixed or something i cant even make calls 9 out of 10 times and i can never get a call here

i would call verizon and tell them this is happening. maybe ask if you could cancel your service and either switch to AT&T or T-Mobile. or you could ask if they could do something like turn the service off or freeze it. then buy a AT&T GO-phone. and use that till your done with college. or permanently switch to AT&T or T-Mobile. but make sure your going to have service when you go home.
