Hey, I'm Jenna. I am currently in Calc, so i can help you with a lot. What helped me pass Algebra 2 and Trig was going in after or before school or during study hall and having my teacher explain some stuff to me. It helped so much and going in there helped me understand it. Try it some time if you can
You have not posted what questions you have. As much as I love to say I am this and did this, just put the problem out. I will see if I can do them. (And fyi: I am a Mechanical Engineering major with a math minor. Thought I might as well put it out there knowing everyone else has)
Some teaching methods meant to make maths more relevant may be making it harder to understand. Students who are taught abstract maths concepts fare better in experiments than those taught with real-world examples. Do not hate maths. There are many ways to make maths easier. Change your attitude towards the maths.
I think first to take intrest in maths and start going for the basics and for the assistance if required to increase the mathematical skills and abilities. Dont panic about your failing in maths subject wise but try to overcome from it and also to look at it in practical life which may benefit you in future aspects.
