How To Get PhD or DBA Scholarship in Marketing?

I am International applicant; from Egypt. I want to apply for PhD or DBA in Marketing for Top Accredited Universities in United States; as Harvard, Chicago, Pennsylvnia, Colombia Universities.

I e-mailed some of those universities and I knew that their basic requirments for Scholarships are:
1. Application forms.
2. State Of Purpose.
3. Official Transcripts.
4. Letters of Recommendations.
5. GMAT Score and TOFEL Score per University requirements.

All of the previous issues can be done in step by step approach, but I want to know what is the unique competitive advantage that they are looking for, to grant this Scholarship. I recieved e-mail from Harvard that they recieve about 600 international applications each year, while only they grant 20-30 applications for all Doctorate Program applicants.

So if you know someone who take this Scolarship or someone who is having an experience with this, then it will be helpful very much.

for your information; I have a Bachelor Degree Of Pharmaceutical Sciences (From Egypt), Professional Diploma Of Marketing (from Chartered Institute Of Marketing), Cambridge International Diploma for Trainers and Teachers, and Diploma in Neuro-Linguistic Programming from American Board of N.L.P.

I worked in 2 multinational Pharmaceutical companies in Pharmaceutical sales, and as Product Manager for Local Pharmaceutical Company in Egypt. I trained about 1500 students and graduates in Marketing, Selling Skills, Presentation Skills, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Critical Thinking, Creativity, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and other soft skills. I founded a new pharmaceutical career in Egypt.

I have a plan to lauch a website specialized for Marketing, to contain books, videos, articles and much more interactive marketing training for customers. So do you think all of this could help to me to be granted for PhD in Marketing or DBA in Marketing Scholarship?? and if not, what else I should do?

You can get PhD scholarships at caluniversity.edu, because I just heard about an online contest - “California InterContinental University 2009 Scholarship Prize Essay Contest”. it’s about an essay writing contest and the winner gets prize money.
