Are there any good music schools in Britain?

i am thinking about going to either Dartmouth, or a fine arts school. First of all, any suggestions (i think i am smart enough to get into Dartmouth, but i really like making music and art and basically everything that has to do with fine arts) if i should pursue a more practical profession and go to dartmouth, or go to a fine arts school which i will enjoy much more. ? But i was just thinking about how all of the most popular bands are British and was curious are there any really good fine arts colleges in the UK?
