CIA is to blame?
Lately, the Intelligence agency has been getting quite a bit of media attention for its lack of communication. According to various news stations, Intelligence has purposely refused to admit warnings of possible terrorists plots that have subsequently led to the failed "Christmas Day Bombing" as well as the massacre on Fort Hood. Speaking of which, the accused, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab (in this country, that is a teacher's nightmare to spell out) has been charged for the "attempted murder of 289 passengers and crew" as well as the concealment and attempted detonation of "a weapon of mass destruction," according to Yahoo! News.
And not to stray from the story, but how "mass" is "mass destruction" because that bomb is not nuclear. I mean, that has always bothered me.
Now returning to the story, the Obama Administration is supposed to release the reports later on today and Obama is suppose to comment on the matter shortly after, if he has not already done so.
My belief is after this spotlight exposure, CIA will buckle down more on the way it ferries information. Add that to the killing of 8 CIA agents in Khost, Afghanistan, I expect to see some serious changes in the way they do business, but is CIA really to blame? What about agencies from other countries? Are they not also at fault? Should they too take responsibility for the loss of lives?
