My school has a few main concentrations-- Marketing, Finance, Consulting, Entrepreneurship.
You can be an accountant, Investment Banker, go into advertising, a consultant, or create your own business. There are a lot of options with a business major! Even some such as Investment Realty or Sports Administration.
you can do a bunch of things with business. you could work in the restaurant industry, work for a financial firm, market feature films, etc. business really covers just about any field of work except if you want to be a lawyer or become a scientist. business degrees are certainly preferred when applying to something in finance.
It would depend on your specific major, but you could be an accountant, advertising exec, real estate developer, or do something in finance; although you can do finance with almost any analytical degree.
There are many areas that you can pursue, as others have said. I go to the Marshall School of Business at USC, and we have more than 10+ concentrations that you can choose from with a Business Admin major such as Business Comm, corporate finance, real estate finance, marketing, investment porfolio, business econ, and just many others. Or you can make your own concentration. I suggest you apply to the school and check out the Marshall website.
