Default What region is best to study abroad in in Australia?

I have to choose from seven regions in Australia...
Atherton Tablelands
Townsville
Mackay
Yeppoon
Gladstone
Hervey Bay
South Qid

Which one do you think is best to study abroad in for 6 months?

As a high school student? Only two of those regions have unis (townsville and South Qld).

I think South Qid is the best for studying in abroad as a high school student.
